Conditions We Treat at Home
Gentle, hands-on physiotherapy and Fascial Counterstrain for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions — delivered to your door across Adelaide.
Acute Neck Pain
Sudden onset neck pain can make driving to a clinic impossible. Our mobile physiotherapy brings gentle, hands-on assessment and treatment directly to your home — helping manage pain, restore range of motion, and support recovery in your own space.
Low Back Pain
Whether it's an acute flare-up that has you stuck in bed, or persistent lower back pain that limits your daily activities, our mobile physio service means you don't need to endure a painful car ride to get expert help.
Migraines & Headaches
During a migraine episode, the last thing you need is bright lights and a noisy waiting room. Philip comes to you, providing gentle Fascial Counterstrain therapy in the calm, dark environment of your own home to help manage cervicogenic and tension headaches.
Sciatica & Nerve Pain
Sciatic pain can make it unbearable to sit in a car. Our mobile service eliminates the travel barrier entirely — we assess and treat nerve-related pain in the comfort of your home, using gentle techniques that work with your nervous system.
Post-Surgical Recovery
After hip replacement, knee surgery, or any major procedure, you're often housebound for weeks. Our mobile physiotherapy provides the critical early rehabilitation you need — right at your bedside — to support healing and restore movement safely.
Shoulder Pain & Frozen Shoulder
From rotator cuff issues to frozen shoulder, upper limb pain can severely limit your independence. Our whole-person approach addresses the fascial and nervous system contributions to shoulder dysfunction — all without you leaving home.
Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia
Living with persistent pain is exhausting. The added burden of travelling to appointments can worsen symptoms. Our gentle, nervous system-informed approach is delivered in your own space — where you feel safest and most relaxed.
Elderly Mobility & Falls Prevention
For older adults with mobility limitations, getting to a clinic can be the biggest barrier to care. We provide in-home physiotherapy assessments, balance training, and gentle exercise programs tailored to maintain independence and reduce falls risk.
Whiplash
After a motor vehicle accident, neck and upper back pain can make driving unsafe. Our mobile service provides early assessment and gentle treatment in your home — critical for managing acute whiplash and supporting your recovery timeline.
Pregnancy-Related Back Pain
Travelling to appointments while pregnant and in pain is uncomfortable and stressful. We provide gentle, pregnancy-safe physiotherapy at your home — including Fascial Counterstrain techniques adapted for expectant mothers.
Hip & Knee Pain
Whether it's arthritis, bursitis, or post-replacement recovery, hip and knee pain makes even short trips difficult. We bring comprehensive assessment and hands-on treatment to your door — no painful car rides required.
Work-From-Home Injuries
The rise of remote work has brought a wave of ergonomic injuries — persistent neck tension, upper back pain, and RSI. We assess your home workspace and provide treatment and ergonomic advice in the environment where the problem originates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q.How much does a mobile physio cost in Adelaide?
All mobile physiotherapy home visits are $190 per session. Initial consultations are 60 minutes and follow-up visits are 45 minutes. This is an all-inclusive price with no hidden travel fees for locations within our primary service area. Health fund rebates are available with private health cover.
Q.Can a physiotherapist come to my house?
Absolutely. Mobile Physio Adelaide is a 100% mobile service — we come to your home, office, or aged care facility anywhere across the Adelaide metropolitan area. All you need is a comfortable space to lie down (a bed or couch works perfectly) and we bring everything else.
Q.What conditions can be treated at home?
Most musculoskeletal conditions can be effectively assessed and treated at home, including neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, migraines and headaches, shoulder pain, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, hip and knee pain, whiplash, and elderly mobility issues. In many cases, being treated in a calm home environment actually supports better outcomes.
Q.Do you treat migraines with physiotherapy?
Yes. Many migraines and headaches have a cervicogenic (neck-related) or tension component that physiotherapy can help address. Fascial Counterstrain is particularly effective as it works gently with the nervous system. Being treated at home — in a quiet, dark environment — is especially beneficial during acute migraine episodes.
Q.What areas of Adelaide do you cover?
We serve the entire Adelaide metropolitan area, from Salisbury and Tea Tree Gully in the north, to Marion and Glenelg in the south, and everywhere in between. Flexible scheduling is available including after-hours and weekends.
Q.Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is needed for private physiotherapy appointments. However, if you have a GP Management Plan (Enhanced Primary Care referral), you may be eligible for Medicare rebates. WorkCover and third-party claims may require insurer approval.
Ready to recover in the comfort of your own home?
No waiting rooms. No painful car rides. Just expert physiotherapy delivered to your door.
